Product Information

The long awaited "To The Wolves" which originaly was planned for a 7" version, which is still on the cards. Just in the near future (early 2009!) So after the great response from the first demo which only started to scatch the surface of the band, here's another 8 tracks from Durham's fastest.

Lyrically To The Wolves shows a clear improvement and step forward for the band with the overall message still being there but with a new aproach and wider point of attatck! Even less forgiving than their 2007 demo, To The Wolves is fast paced and doesn't stick around to take names. Grab the CD now and watch out for the 7" with extra stuff!

1. Bite the curb
2. By the books
3. No chance
4. Stone cold
5. The hardway
6. Y.F.C
7. Sick of your shit
8. Fucked up fists

Brainbuster - To The Wolves
"Having been sent a copy of their demo not long ago, I was somewhat surprised to see that Brainbuster already gearing up for another release. Being released through Bad luck and Last Exile Records, "To the Wolves" is an improvement on the Shark Attack style hardcore that was seen on their demo. Opening with the same track that opens the demo, "Bite the Curb" gets this 7" moving in perfect fashion. The re recording is either exactly the same as the demo version or very close, but the recording itself sounds better. The drums sound awesome, and it must be noted that drummer Jacque is a major contribution to this band. Apart from the opening track, Jacque’s drumming also stands out in "Stone Cold." I must be honest, I’m not a massive fan of fast and angry hardcore punk that seems to be taking over the UKHC scene at the moment, but I can make an exception for Brainbuster. "Sick of Your Shit" is the other song that has managed to make it from the demo onto this release and the anger in vocalist Jon can be heard throughout. This is a much better release then the demo and it will be interesting to see how this comes across live. If you’re a fan of the recent wave of hardcore punk in the UK, such as No Dice or Gameover you should enjoy Brainbuster."
